Timothy Taylor Gallery London - 23rd March 2006 Break it down - A performance explores concepts like improvisation in music and ‘truth to materials’ in sculpture and incorporates these into performance art. Sean Dower and Richard Wilson have been working together since 1988 and this performance emerged out of regular, improvised percussion experiments. Other performances have taken place at Wapping pumping station London (Drum Duet), Delfina Studio Trust London (Audio Addicted), Ikon Gallery Birmingham, Netwerk Centre Aalst Belgium and the Golden Palace restuarant, Hull.
