| Ground Control 2010 Car, fluorescent paint, UV lights, bass speakers and soundtrack (dimensions variable) Ground control contains powerfull low frequency speakers transmitting a unique soundtrack designed to make the car's structure shake, rattle and vibrate via sympathetic resonance. Depending on the environment where the work is installed, the noises are programmed to occur intermittently. First exhibited in Musik für Barbaren und Klassiker at Netwerk Centre for Contemporary Art, Belgium in 2010. |
