Live Noise Transmission for Monomania Festival. Cambridge - March 2014

Live Noise Transmission occupied two separate spaces at Aid and Abet, an artist run exhibition space in Cambridge UK. The continuous live performance took place in a sealed room, visible to the public through sound-proofed windows. In a separate space, an installation with CCTV monitor and sound system transmitted live sound and images of the performance. The audience could either watch the muted performance through the window or alternatively listen in the unique sound system environment with the visuals mediated via a TV monitor.

Performance space: Sealed room with windows, percussion instruments and props, microphones, mixing desk and CCTV camera.

Sound system installation: Platform, lights, artificial grass, bamboo, TV monitor, four electrostatic speakers & bass speakers.

Photography by Rich Etteridge and the artist. Additional video by Brother Bear. Monomania Festival took place across sites in Cambridge on 08.03.14. With thanks to Aid and Abet and Jo Brook at Bad Timing.
