Sean Dower works with sculpture, film and video, live performance, photography and sound. Much of his work draws on his historical involvement in live performance.
Dower began making performances in the early 1980s as part of the UK 'industrial' music scene and went on to work with the radical performance art group Bow Gamelan Ensemble. He studied Sculpture
at Camberwell School of Art, London and attended the residency programme of the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. Dower and has been making exhibitions in galleries, museums and other contexts since the early 1990's.
